Instructions - Carrying on the back
Share
Suitable from 6 months.
WARNING:
Only use the back carry position if your baby has good head and neck control and can sit unaided.
1. Position the waist strap so that the panel is centered against your back and secure the buckles on the same side of the panel (not crossed).
2. Place one of the shoulder straps over your arm.
3. Place your baby on the opposite hip.
4. Use the arm free from the strap to move your baby from the hip position into the carrier, while using the arm in the strap to secure your baby.
5. Lean forward slightly so that your baby can rest his weight on your back as you place your baby in the carrier.
6. Maintain a slight forward bend, pull the panel up your baby’s back, and pass your other arm through the other shoulder strap, as if putting on a backpack.
7. Adjust the carrier using the adjustable straps under your arm for a secure fit. Make sure your baby is comfortable and close to your body.
8. Gently press your child's calves so that the legs remain in an "M" position.
"M" position
The "M" position is the ergonomically correct position.
